At Eminence Organics, we care about the health of our environment and our community as much as our skin! We are committed to giving back through charitable contributions, volunteer efforts and community support initiatives.
Organic Meals Served And Counting!
We believe that organically-grown, locally-sourced and nutrient-rich foods can support the healing and health of those undergoing medical treatment, especially seriously ill children. Through the Eminence Kids Foundation, we are proud to donate organic fruits, vegetables and nourishing foods to sick kids and their families around the world and have served over 190,000 meals so far.
For every retail product sold, a tree is planted through our Forests for the Future™ program. But the impact of this initiative goes deeper than that. Through our partnership with Trees for the Future, your purchase helps provide vital training for farmers in developing countries to build productive and sustainable Forest Gardens. According to Trees for the Future, “Forest Gardens consist of thousands of trees that provide families with sustainable food sources, livestock feed, products to sell, sustainable fuel wood and, on average, a 400% increase in their annual income in four years.”
In November 2023, we surpassed an impressive milestone — with your help, we planted 30 million trees! Your support has trained over 6,000 farmers and provided food and dignified work to communities around the world, helping to restore the soil and build a more sustainable future.
We’re expanding our commitment to restorative agriculture below the sea! By partnering with veritree, we’ve diversified our tree planting to include kelp in the Pacific Northwest and mangroves in Kenya and Brazil. For our first project with veritree, we planted over 599,000 kelp in British Columbia. Here’s why:
900,000 metric tonnes of CO2 sequestered
80,000+ people on the pathway out of hunger and poverty
10,000+ farmers trained to date
Supporting cancer research has been close to our hearts since the very beginning. This passion began with Eminence President Boldijarre Koronczay, a survivor of childhood leukemia, and is amplified today through our Team Members and a number of corporate initiatives. To date, Eminence Organics has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars towards organizations geared towards bettering the lives of those with cancer and advancing cancer research.
We are also regular contributors to the Canadian Cancer Society and children’s health foundations across North America through monetary donations and product gifting for various fundraising events.
I.CARE is dedicated to restoring the reefs of Islamorada and the Florida Keys. Their mission is to incorporate local businesses, residents and visitors in the restoration and maintenance of the coral reef communities in the area. They have created the first community-based approach to reef restoration with activities including coral transplanting, marine debris clean-ups, and reef monitoring.
Their goal is to restore our reefs for current and future generations. Coral reefs are an integral part of our oceans, providing food and shelter to thousands of organisms and protecting shorelines from storms and erosions. As well as being committed to producing SPF products that do not contain the harmful chemicals that damage reefs’ ecosystems, Eminence Organics is proud to support the work that I.CARE does.
Our company contributes to several other charities each year where we can make
an impact in our community. Some of the charities we’ve recently supported include:
