Our favorite moments at Eminence Organics are those spent with you - our valued spa partners and loyal fans. In 2017, you joined us online for our Facebook and Instagram Live broadcasts with our Lead Skin Care Trainer Natalie Pergar. We were delighted to hear so many well-thought questions from our community! Here are a few of our favorites.
Prepping for my wedding, what musts would you recommend to have a flawless complexion for the big day? The excitement is making me feel like a teenager and the stress is making me look like one. (Audrey from Washington)
A: Number one: I really highly recommend that you find yourself a really good esthetician. I think going for regular facials (once a month before the day of the wedding) is going to be optimal, because then you’re going to have a better approach to what your skin needs before the wedding itself. (You can visit our Spa Locator to find an Eminence Organics authorized spa near you!)
If you’re not able to get yourself to an esthetician, you can do your own “facial” at home once a week. My best suggestion is to keep it mild - you don’t want to over-stress or over-activate the skin. My home care recommendations are:

How many layers of product can the skin absorb? (Rachel from Louisiana)
A: I have lots of different products and I’m a big fan of layering and mixing things together, so I definitely understand what you’re speaking about! You can layer no problem - everything will get into the skin. The key is how you’re doing it. Give it some time - sometimes when we go too quickly and we layer one, then another, then another one on top, we’re not even allowing the product to get into the skin where it needs to be. So, go for it.
I’m always concerned about my neck aging. What do you suggest to keep it young and firm? (Cory from Idaho)
A: You just want your snap back! So, here we’re looking at contouring the area around the neck and jawline. The skin around our neck is quite thin and it doesn’t hold a lot of volume, so the first signs of aging really appear here. We have two really beautiful neck products: Eminence Organics Monoi Age Corrective Night Cream For Face & Neck and the Hibiscus Ultra Lift Neck Cream.
Eminence Organics Hibiscus Ultra Lift Neck Cream is truthfully one of my favorites, because you get an instant gratification when you use it. I used it this morning, actually! I really love using it, especially before big sunny days, because then I can get the treatment on my neck area, keep it firm, keep it tight, take down the look of any redness, help any crepe-iness you can get just from sleeping at night. The ingredients not only give you an instant tight, “snapback” kind of feeling, but they will also work for you long term, so they’re beneficial in minimizing the look of aging later on.
Always, always make sure you are wearing SPF on those areas. Sometimes we forget to apply our SPF products in the decollete and neck region. The sun actually hits this part of our body quite aggressively, so we see a lot of sun damage here. Don’t forget to apply that SPF because it will help to prevent the look of more fine lines and wrinkles.
What is your take on a garden derived specifically for beauty products? And, what would be your beauty garden plant list? (Tracy from Kentucky)
A: Immediately, what comes to mind: Lavender, roses. These are things you can make into oils. Witch hazel, horsetail, chamomile, calendula. I’m going to cheat a little bit and probably the best inspiration to draw from would be from the Eminence Certified Organic Farm! We launched the farm project in the spring in Hungary and it’s like taking a trip through a garden of skin care. So, if you’re looking for inspiration to grow your own garden, that’s probably where I would send you first!
