New Years Eve

Now’s the time to pep up your complexion for the last party of the year. If you want to prepare your skin for a dazzling makeup look (and give it that extra wow!), here are 6 steps for ringing in the New Year with glowing skin.

1. Exfoliate

Give your skin a jump start with a pre-party peel. The Clear Skin Willow Bark Exfoliating Peel gently sloughs off dead skin with fruit acids to reveal a healthy glow. Your skin will feel refreshed and prepped for your night’s beauty look.

2. Mask

Mask with our Eight Greens Phyto Masque (Hot). The paprika from a self-heating mask (touted by Glamour as the next big thing in face masks) gives skin a work out and produces a healthy, rosy glow. It also works wonders to control oil and shine throughout the night and improves hydration. Apply a few hours before heading out the door since the paprika does heat up the skin for up to 60 minutes.

3. Hydrate

Be sure to keep the skin hydrated for a healthy glow - replenish with lots of H2O and apply a dewy finish moisturizer such as our Apricot Whip Moisturizer.

4. Treat Eyes

It’s been a long month of holiday parties, sugar and cocktails, but don’t let your eyes give it away. Whether it’s early in the evening or early into the New Year, our Hibiscus Ultra Lift Eye Cream will reduce puffiness and keep you looking fresh any time.

5. Moisturize Lips

Don’t forget your pucker with our Marine Flower Peptide Lip Serum to prep your lips for that favorite gloss or lipstick. This lip serum improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the lips so that they're ready for the midnight ball drop.

6. Cleanse

The party's over and you'd like to go straight to bed but there's no greater skin care mistake than sleeping with your makeup on! Take the easy way out and use our Birch Water Purifying Essence to remove the night's glamour. Just swipe this cleanser, toner, makeup remover over your skin with a cotton round and you're done. No need to rinse!
