Cranberries are a timeless holiday treat that make an appearance in some of our most cherished festive sauces, desserts, drinks and more. These tart, red berries are more than just a burst of flavor — cranberries are packed with vitamin C, antioxidants and plenty of other nutrients which make them one of our favorite superfoods.

As much as we love incorporating cranberries into our holiday dishes, these super-berries aren’t just for eating. Here are four fun and festive ways to use cranberries this holiday season:

1. Indulge In A Cranberry Skin Treatment:

We’d like to think that the “C” in cranberry stands for vitamin C because this wee berry is loaded with it. In addition to vitamin C, cranberries are also rich in phytonutrients and antioxidants which all work together to fight free-radical damage and keep your skin looking young. Give your skin a dose of “cran-power” by treating yourself to our Cranberry Pomegranate Sugar Scrub.

2. Create Your Own Festive Cranberry Centerpiece:

We’re always looking for fun and easy ways to glam up our holiday dinner table and cranberries can do just that.

What you need:

  • 1 cup of fresh cranberries
  • Fresh holly leaves
  • 2 mason jars or glass vases
  • Option: Dress the top of the vases/jars with string or ribbon

Instructions:

Place cranberries and holly leaves inside your mason jars or glass vases. Fill with water, and voila, you’ve created a beautiful, eco-friendly holiday centerpiece (aka masterpiece) in a matter of minutes!

3. Make Your Own Cranberry-Infused Water:

This cranberry-infused beverage is a simple and deliciously healthy way to stay hydrated this holiday season.

Instructions:

Add the below items to a clear glass water pitcher or decanter:

  • 1 cup of cranberries
  • 1 lemon and/or lime, sliced
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • A splash of cranberry juice for extra flavor (optional)

Fill the water pitcher or decanter with filtered, chilled water. Add ice if desired.
